On the road at night....

Under the street light 

there I stood with fright

On the road that travels long

with tall trees along

There road seemed lonely,

So I became its partner boldly

As the cold breeze touched me,

I was welcomed by the tall tree.

As I walked on the road,

I felt a hand that is broad

Grabbed my arm tight

And I turned with fright.

A chill went down my spine

As I got a scary sign.

I opened my eyes with a scream,

Just to realise that it was a dream.
